It’s 100+ degrees in Bangkok, Thailand.
Luckily, the city offers refuge from the blazing sun:
Bangkok is home to some of the most luxurious malls in the world.
I need to cool down and get some writing done.
Let’s see what these malls have to offer…
👋 I’m C.S.M. — a novelist sharing everything I learn about writing stories.
I’ve been traveling for over two months now.

Focus on my writing
Last week I shared my 12+ hour train journey from Chiang Mai to Bangkok, Thailand.
A number of Bangkok’s best malls can be found on Sukhumvit Road in the downtown area.
Their entrances are linked to elevated walkways that connect the city’s train stations.
These walkways are a lifesaver— you’re able to move above the always-congested traffic.
My favorite malls in Bangkok are:
Central World
Siam Paragon
MBK Center
Teminal 21
Each mall has its own nuances, but they’re all incredibly impressive.
You can expect higher quality and much cheaper prices than in the US… 👀
I like to find a coffee shop (usually Cafe Amazon) and sit down to get some work done.
I love the random bits of design you see across South East Asia.
Look at the statues outside Starbucks 👇
I’m really enjoying my time in Bangkok.
Next week I’ll take you to the city’s most famous park, so make sure you’re subscribed:
Until next time,
